It’s not THAT easy to do as it’s said but it isn’t impossible either.
There are several problems around you. You just need to identify those problems and solve them.
NOW, WHAT KIND OF PROBLEMS?
Problems that are distressing to you. Nobody solves them but everyone wants a solution.
You look around, you’ll find many.
You solve the problem for yourself and provide others with the solution. Hence, start a business!
Once you become very alert about identifying problems, your mind will be acutely aware of the problems going around you. You become like a magnet and start collecting problems.
Once you start identifying the problems around you, you start solving them. The more and more problems you solve, the more obsessed you become with solving problems. You develop deeper and pervasive problem-solving skills.
LET’S ANALYZE SOME EXAMPLES
It becomes very difficult and time consuming to search for a good movie on Netflix. The preferred genre doesn’t always match with the search results. It’s a problem. But is it a problem for everyone?
It might be but we don’t know.
For another instance, it becomes difficult to search for a good book to read next for Joe. Joe has this habit of highlighting sentences while reading on Kindle. Later on, he makes flashcards of those highlighted parts. These give a summary of the book that he read.
Thus, if these flashcards can be converted to an app where people can add their flashcards of the books they’ve read and also can get a review of other books just by browsing through the flashcards containing the summary of the books, won’t it be cool?
Well, flashcards containing summarized topics don’t go wrong. Do they?
If you get such flashcards before your exams,won’t it be great for you?
This is how you can identify problems and develop your problem-solving skills.
